Dear Golf Club Estate Property Owners,
Fall is approaching and we are feeling some of the cooler weather and shorter days. The trees are still in "green" mode but they should start turning soon.
GCE is a busy place and we are thrilled to continue to welcome new homeowners to the area. Please continue to be cautious and respectful of the rules and SPEED limits. It seems as if speeding and not showing proper etiquette to walkers, bikers, carts is a problem in a lot of the communities in the area. Please remind contractors and visitors to obey our speed limits since the roads are narrow and we need to "share" them with others. And most importantly, as a property owner, set a good example!
Our Annual/Budget Meeting was held on September 12 and we had a nice attendance, good discussion and approved our 2023 budget, board members and renewed our covenants for another ten years to 2033.
Our property manager, POA Support, whose President is Boris Krueger and his administrative assistant, Laura Holden can be reached at 828-743-9200 or laura@poasupport.com. They are there to answer any questions or provide you with assistance throughout the year. If you need help with a dead battery, locked keys or disturbances we do have a contract with Blue Ridge Security and they will come out to your house to assist. Their number is 828-743-2199 and identify that you are a homeowner in GCE and we have a security contract with BR.
Please remember that work on your property needs to be completed between the hours of 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday - Saturday. There is to be NO lawn work on Sundays. Please be considerate of your neighbors and as the homeowner, make sure you inform your lawn, maintenance or construction workers of these guidelines.
